Hey Yo,
When will the details be out for the Poker Run? I have few (lots I think) that I have talked into coming. Will there be room for camping up there? I'm thinking of going friday and staying til Sunday, to ride ride ride. I think if I camp, there will be two or three of us at least with camp trailers. If not, they'll be rooom at the State Park.
Anybody else up for camping?????? We can either camp up there or at the State Park, depending on if anybody wants hook-ups. They have some good group spots at the State Park. Come on now,,,,,,pary party party >>>> ride ride ride. I'm sure we'll have plenty of trailers to get the quads up to the play area.
Smooch Ya

Supergumby, A whole bunch of us are going to Moses this weekend. (I don't know if that helps or not) You do have a few locals in the area who do frequent Tahuya though. Either way, somebody should be able to hook you up.

Quad4, I have to hand the controls over to Discobunny now. She is our treasurer, and it's club bidness'. So I have officially given her permission!

Oh ya, by the way,
I would not recommend anybody going to VR Trailer Sales near Puyallup. It's at the end of highway 167 going into Puyallup. Even though I like their trailers, their customer service SUCKS. Oh by the way, did I mention their customer service SUCKS? If I didn't, it does. The sales guy I had works their part time (very nice and helpful), he even got kinda put in his place by for telling me something he shouldn't have. He told me if I got the trailer home and something was terribly wrong, to bring it back and they would help me out. Not saying they would fix or pay for anything, but help me get it fixed. That they would give me a good deal if I had to have it done. That sounded fine with me.
The short of the long story is this. I found the perfect trailer for me at a good price, it was used but seemed in good shape. All I asked was if they checked the brakes and wheel bearings to make sure they were in working condition. I was very clear I didn't want anything from them except to know the trailer was safe enough to drive home. OMG, how unreasonable I was, what was I thinking. The trailer was as-is, ok I can understand that, but is it safe enough to make it home???? They take trailers in on trade, park 'em and put a price tag on them. No clean up, no minor inspection at all. All I asked was if they checked it, OMG. They said it came in working and they wouldn't take it if it wasn't. So I asked, how they knew it was OK if they didn't even look at it.. DUH !! She said they sell as-is and that's all they can do. She stated they don't warranty them or anything. I stated that is not what I wanted, I wanted to make it home without a wheel coming off and hitting someobdy else. So I asked if it was right to let a customer drive a trailer off their lot not knowing if it was even half-way safe to drive. I told her again, I wasn't asking for anything except to make sure the trailer was road worthy. She said she understood but there was nothing they could do. Then she said I could look at or do whatever before I left. She said they could help me if I needed. I said ok, if you could at least do that that would be good. Then she said they would only help me if they had time, if they has something going then they couldn't spend the time to help a CUSTOMER. She made it very clear if they did help, it would only be for a VERY short time. See ya. Whew, I'm steaming so bad I'm fogging up the monitor, so I'll leave it at that.
Am I so unreasonable, I don't think so but please let me know if you think I am. I called Freeway Trailers if Fife, who I have bought from before. Good experience there. Without telling them why I called, I asked if they did any type of inspection on used trailers they sold. I was told they pull the wheel off just to make sure everything looks ok and has enough grease. I don't feel so unreasonable. What I asked would take no more that 15-20 minutes at the most to check. aaaagggghhhhhhhh
