3 ft behind my tv? No. They just need enough room to get there hands behind the tv. I don't know if you know this, i didn't, you have to have a phone line hooked up to your receiver. I have one reciever but it works on two tv's. The main receiver is in the bedroom next to my phone line. The living room tv doesn't have a receiver or nothing. It runs through the tv lines, to the bedroom. I must say the DVR is really cool. I keeped replaying some plays in slow motion. LOL The guy that hooked my recievers up, was really cool. He was a young kid. His name was Hani, (hay ne). Not sure what nationality he was. I already have a show to watch that i recorded last night, i'm hoping i set it up correctly. I like it so far, but i was use to Directv, so it will take me some time to get use to this one.

Yeah I knew about the phone line, guess I should of put a double box on the puter one oh well I'll use a splitter hopefully that won't be a problem Glad to hear no 3' needed LOL I figured they'd just need a little amount.

Well looks good we both like the back to be sworley so sandstars it is. But should I go with smaller tires and rims for the wheel speed or go big for the top end. here are the questions and so many choices.

I don't see a problem using the splitter, that's what i used. Now i have to go get another one tonight because i took my splitter off my computer and fax machine.

hey there WQ and DM,

I don't think you "have" to have the phone hooked up. You really only need it to do PPV from the TV or maybe a few other features. If you want to use them, then you can hook up the phone, if you don't then you don't need to.
I've had my DISH for a couple years and don't have my phone hooked up.
My kids figured out how to call on the phone and order the PPV view stuff, gggggrrrrrrrrr

I've been happy with mine and love the DVR, that is the coolest thing
Hopefully you don't lose reception as much as I do when the weather is really crappy though..

Have fun

Hey Turkey ,

My buddy has the SandStars on his stock Rappy 350, they seem to do really well for him.
Did great at Sand Lake and Florence with them.
I think he has 20"er's but I'm not sure. I'll ask him...
I don't think I would go to big on the 350 though...
See what the HappaDancer and BigD are running on their Big Rappy's.......

We've ran the SandStars and RedRod's Sand Sharks on our 250 and the both did really well.

Good Luck
