hey there WQ and DM,

I don't think you "have" to have the phone hooked up. You really only need it to do PPV from the TV or maybe a few other features. If you want to use them, then you can hook up the phone, if you don't then you don't need to.
I've had my DISH for a couple years and don't have my phone hooked up.
My kids figured out how to call on the phone and order the PPV view stuff, gggggrrrrrrrrr

I've been happy with mine and love the DVR, that is the coolest thing
Hopefully you don't lose reception as much as I do when the weather is really crappy though..

Have fun
Hmmm, interesting. When the installer was telling me about the phone line it sounded like it was a MUST! I had directv before this and i have never lost reception. I hope it don't change.

I have a set of 22x11x10 Sandstars for a rappy 660.. I'll let ya test em out if you want. they are a lil to sticky for my likin. I have 7 Paddle Haulers now. I dunno how i will really like em till i get summer sand. Still to much traction in the wet stuff. Guess i could always use more power

Sounds like a plan OFC. Thank you!!! When are you guys getting together to ride that way I can introduce myself in person. Or is this going to be a Presidents Day weekend thing??? I could always put the geikos on the wifes bike just to get her started. She is still a little sceered with her brand new quad, but she is getting better everytime we ride. And where the heck are you all going to the Sand??
