Supergumby, hope to see you this weekend.

To the rest of you, notice how after BigDaddy aced me out the last time? I wasn't even going to mess with 4,000!

Did anyone notice that Happamullet was starting to grow hair!

Is anyone coming this weekend?

supergumby-
i know this may seem kinda against what you're going toward, but loud pipes just to be loud are bad for the sport. sound checks are becoming common at all kinds of events.
also, before you jump on getting more power out ot the predator you need to get to know the limits of your current setup.... generally, a racer works on setting up the suspension first, then bumping the power up to the desired level... it's no fun having tons of power without being able to put it to the ground... it stinks when you know you have more brute horsepower on a starting gate than most of the racers there & then they whoop on ya because you can't hook it up, corner, or jump.... trust me!!!

outcast-
what kind of riding do you do & plan to do?(trails, dunes, racing-what type?-???) go find my reply about the gasgas a few pages back if you haven't yet.(page 197)
every one of the models you listed have both pros & cons depending on your intended use... of all of them, stay away from the gasgas 450.... they are still sorting out bugs on it's motor as far as i know. the gasgas 300 has a solid engine, killer components, & only needs the shocks re-sprung & revalved to be a true race machine. the YFZ is the lightest one at 350 lbs, already has great aftermarket support & parts availability. the predator is slightly heavier than the others, but makes up for it in displacement, has good parts & aftermarket, but i wonder about the tranny... i've seen multiple reports of problems

Dinger, we should get your song book too!
I think we should leave the song books at home....
