Quads Only and the guy who runs Goldendale want to put an event together, "Quads Only" on April 25th. There will be more details coming in the next couple of weeks.

I dont have my quad right now, in the shop because of bad back brakes under warrenty but i should get it back here soon. please keep me updated on the race!!!

king, have you thought about calling yamaha directly and talking to them??? You might not get to much but it cant hurt! I guess you have learned not to buy used, i bought my honda used and year later i traded it in because it was costing me to much money to fix it. The way to go is buy new and you most likely will not have any of these problems. CYCLE BARN is one of the biggest joke, money first and then customer service.

Here's a link to the track. It has a great arial picture. Goldendale is a euro GP style track. It is about 6 miles long. I don't have a lot of details on the actual race yet. I just found out about it today. I am assuming it is a scramble type race. I do know that Jeff Bocook is negotiating with the track and they are trying to get a lot of people to show up for this so that the track will consider having quad only events on a regular basis. I think it will help the cause to have a pro racer campaigning for this. I am even considering doing this one, as long as they have a "wimp" class.
I will post more info about the race as I get it.

Sorry to hear they haven't fixed your brakes yet. Let's hope they get it right this time.

Cheech, thanks much for the suggestion on how to fix the busted plastics on my trasher quad. I drilled holes and used zip ties to hold it all back together. Looks awesome! Black stitches zig zagging around on the white plastics, and it's real strong. I probably got a little overzealous with that drill and those zip ties, but I was liking the way it was looking and just couldn't stop myself!

Taking the quads up to our land above Leavenworth this weekend to play in the snow, we'll see if I can't come up with a reason to do more stitching (hopefully not on the new Honda!).
