Kym, I know how you feel, I won't be one of these parents at the track that forces the kids to ride.

Brandon just falls apart when he has to miss a race because he acts like a butthole. He is the first little guy that will miss a race due to the sniffles. We learned our lesson last year on that. T o u g h to drive that far and then he tells us he dosen't feel good.

That is why Ty has not ridden more, we won't tell him he has to. Plus he is predictable as slug slime.

Hayley tested my thoughts on that theory last weekend when I hurt my back...

There was 3 races left at Oakwood.
She is(was) smoking the 2nd place person in points for the series. Just needed to finish out the races to take first place.
But when I got hurt and had to go to the hospital in the medic unit, she wanted to go to the hospital with me.
Of course I did try to tell her I was ok and she could stay and race, but she didn't want to.
So she came to the hospital.........Family first [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
Thus not racing that day and the other girl won and gained 20 points on Hayley..
Now she only has a 11 point lead with 2 races left.
The other girl just got a KFX80 that's piped and carbed, so she is right there with Hayley making for some good racing. Her and Hayley hang with each other, and she has beat hayley a couple times now.
So, hayley has to beat her, or finish right behind her to win the series. If she finished right behind her the next to races, Hayley will win the series by only 2 or 4 points.
I guess my point is, I really don't care what place she gets, as long as she has fun and wants to ride.
Had I tried to force her to stay that day and race, it might not be fun for her anymore.
But will sure make for a great last 2 races to watch.......
