The MH is pretty much all loaded up, quad is washed, just need to change oil. If the pass isn't crap, we'll be leaving around 5:00pm Friday for Moses [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Well we had a nice ride yesterday w/ Brian(Wildturkey),Jayna,Ron, DJ & I The weather couldnt' of been better!!!!!!!!! Still rode in the snow this time made it farther up than last haha DJ went the farthest on the lil' ol' 300 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] she's still got some grunt left in er [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] He didn't like it on the open roads hahaha but it'll grunt thru anything on a tight trail!! Ron had to go back early due to a hole in his sidewall [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] we come back to the truck & he has is rednecked up acting like he's goin back out LMAO wait till Jayna posts the pic [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] so looks like we be needing a couple new tires but I think we got that figured out for now!!
Wildturkey was good to see you again, glad you drove up to ride w/ us hope ya had a good time & GLAD you got your helmet back!! That was pretty cool of that guy!! We have to do it again!! bummer you can't make it to Moses [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I really don't know if we will anyway now the more we think about it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] We will have to see, them darn bills are gettting in the way ya know [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] plus the last 3-4 weekends all we've done is ride, nothing wrong w/ it but it does get spendy on the fuel pocket book!! WE WILL SEE THOUGH we'll probably be there [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Gotta get Trev's new axle installed, some tires changed,oil/sludge in the 426 changed & we're good to go!! Motorhome is still the same as is was for Sand Lake [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] that's how much time I'VE had since we got home hahaha

So I'm curious what does it cost to camp @ Moses??, How strict are they on ORV tabs, sound restrictions??, need to know these things PLEASE [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Well Friday night my friend and I headed over to Moses. Stayed in a motel friday night, didn't sleep that good cuz i had to keep getting up to make sure my quad was still on the trailer, even though it was locked up. Saturday was beautiful over there. Probably 55 degrees, LOTS of people. We rode for 5 hours straight. Started getting a little windy so we headed back to the truck. There was a big black cloud coming so we called it quits. Loaded it up and headed home. It started snowing before Easton, and it was a blizzard on the pass. The other side wasn't that bad, but this side there was some slush on the road. Overall we had a good ride, and i'm very sore. I was praticing my woolies the whole time. I'm getting pretty good on starting to hold them for more than a second. Only went over once. TP i heard about the crash with Esa(SP). I guess he broke his cheek bone and elbow. I hope you didn't hurt yourself.

Looks like we are planning on going to St Anthony's for sure. I'm really looking forward to it. A week off work, what more can you ask for??

no cost to camp at moses, (other than cups for beers), it is a public land use area, tabs are a very good idea, I've seen a few slapped for not having them. Sound restrictions, never heard or seen it enforced.
