Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Good evening PSAR. I've been reading this area for some time now and would like to tag along on one of your outings if that is OK. I'm 64 years old and not into high speed riding but do enjoy the outdoors and spending time with good people. My wife is a nurse and will not be retiring till next year. Since she works weekends I would be going solo for some time yet. We also spend some time in Mexico, our oldest son lives in Mazatlan, and in Centerville, Wa. just a couple of miles from Eddieville at our little farm.

I have a 360 Prairie that to this time I have used mostly for work around the farm but want to do some trail riding. Being inexperienced it would be best to start with a more "rider friendly" route I would think.

Thanks for listening and any comments appriciated.

Mike
Welcome aboard. We all like to ride trails and you are more than welcome to join us anytime. We have fast riders(OFC, Janya & others) and we have slow riders (ME, Happa and others). You will fit in fine. We have a trail ride planned for April 8th at Rock Candy (Capital Forest). You should try and join us if you are open.

Again, welcome aboard.

Thanks for the invite, Where is "Rock Candy/Capital Forest? At the present time it appears I would be able to attend as I seldom have a whole lot to do other than morning coffee at the local cafe and shopping with SWMBO a couple days a week.

"Rock Candy/Capital Forest" are south to Olympia and then west on Hwy 101/8 until 101 and 8 split west of Olympia and then follow 8 toward Grays Harbor about 4 miles to Rock Candy Road on the left, then a 1/4 mile into the parking area. Breakfast is usually at "The Place at the Mudd Bay exit off 101/8 an hour before the ride.

And welcome. Hot damn finally someone older than me. :

If I don't have a relapse, I will be there. But I have to behave myself and finish the meds first (5 more days).

And that would make you just slighty younger than dirt, right? At least my kids tell me I'm getting to be older than dirt.

The 45/70 in your sig. Rifle related?

Thanks for the welcome and directions. What time does the ride start?

Mornin' PSAR

All of you heading over the hump, have a safe drive and a fun weekend.
Me, I'll be working. Picked up a cash job for the weekend. Should pay for my next valve adjustment.

Hopefully I'll have my bedroom/master bath finished by next weekend, then I'll have some time to ride!
