I guess you did not hear me when I spoke of this a few weeks ago huh? I was telling folks before the last TT race down there. They need 75 people paying $25.00 a day for practice to break even. It is a shame.

I usually ride much more durning the winter, haven't even been to Tahuya in over a year. Guess I need to fix it before the Rock Candy Ride.

As for indoor flattrack YES as of now anyway, that is in jeopardy also! Well the current owners are getting out I hear! There is Oakwood down south but they haven't been running flattracks [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I did talk to the track groomer down there & he said they are talking about getting a series up & going again that'd be nice it's a dingy little arena but at least it's racing [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

MB I never heard a thing about them closing or them needing all those riders [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] that's craziness if you ask me did they think that THAT many peeps would go EVERY day there to practice LOL man some have J O B S [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

My sister in law, brother and myself took my 10 yr old nephew to RMC to practice indoor racing on Saturday. I was very surprised at how well he did on his motorcycle. We left at 4, which didn't make him happy. He wanted to stay there, and ride because he liked it so much. By the time we left he was jumping the table top and acouple of the jumps, on his kx65. I was amazed at how good some of the little kids are. The was a tiny little guy riding a automatic motorcycle and he lapped everyone. He must of only been 5. Now i have to look at the schedule to see when the motorcycles are practicing again down there. Sucks to hear that they are closing down Wide Open. I didn't see any signs saying that.

I did talk to a guy down there, he was saying that they are opening a kids race track at the darigold (SP) track in Snohomish. I haven't heard anything about that, but it sure would be nice, since it's closer. Not sure if it is quad friendly either, i didn't ask the guy.
