Well DJ got the 426 tore down & the timing chain came off the bottom gear, HOPEFULLY it is just stretched & the gear is OK does anyone have any suggestions?? YES IAM getting a new chain man them things is spendy LOL!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] The piston & all that look good(it hasn't been in there THAT long anyway) the gear from what I can see looks good but what do I know [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] Just need ANOTHER base gasket geesh wish them parts didn't get lost soooooo easy [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]
Just sitting here now listening to the BRATS ride across the street [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I'd go join them but I can't get that darned pirate bike fired [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] my knee(it tweaks when I try [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]) isn't strong enough to kick the bastard over ARGGGGG I'm just a wuss I guess [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Did see Trev riding the 300 again he looks funny from across the street haha

So any of you 400ex owners have you had your timing chaing stretch?? I've read about them doing that before but am not sure if ours is stretched is what I'm trying to say[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] It is 6 yrs old so i suppose that could be it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
