You guys had it easy, words alone can't explain what we went through later. It was cold and wet, nothing wrong with wanting to call it a day, especially when the trailboss is riding around in circles [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

Well, I made it home. I can honestly say, I have never ever been that soaked and muddy. I couldn't bear to change in the nastiness of that pit toilet, it scared me.

To continue, that was an adventure! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Thanks guys. I completely brought the WRONG gear for that wet of riding. I had to leave my gear on the deck to hose it off before I can bring it in the house. Geez. Gotta love the NW!

A huge thanks to everybody for the ride today. It was a pleasure meeting all the new people. Between the logging operations around the trail, (making it totally disappear and not knowing where it picked up on the other side of the road), downed trees and a wet, (completely worthless at the end of the day) map, we finally did make it back to the staging area, I think it was around 4:30. I'm tired and sore, sore, sore.

A special Thanks goes out to tencubed for topping off our quads when we decided to press on with the trail ride after part of the group decided to call it a day. He had 5 gallons of gas on his rear rack and we needed some to continue our journey.

 

You are truly Superwoman, drive all the way from Arlington, ride to the very end, drive back to Arlington and you have to work tonight, my hat's off to you [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

Larry, as a Captain, if U went down with the boat we would follow U all the way. Leading, keeping track and organizing everyone is not an EZ task and even if it doesn't always go flawlessly, at least U always step up and are willing to trailboss, hats off to U for that and Thank U.
