So Hap, did we get lost trying to find our way back again ?? Sorry we missed all the fun, but we will try again next time.
We were only lost for about an hour. I don't know what happened after we left.

Happa is never "LOST", just disoriented once in a while.

either that or she left Angie home

PLEASE do! Funny thing is, I can't use it worth a dang and I didn't set a waypoint at the staging area because I was late and holding everyone up. I need to find a handlbar mount for it, too so it has a better chance at holding satellite signal. Although, I enjoyed the entertainment of Hap trying to repeatedly unfold and use the disinegrating map. Pics to be posted shortly.

Happa, you were a great trailboss, THANKS for leading the way. It was a great adventure. Trailbossing for a large group can be like herding cats. I am always impressed with how well we all do on these rides.

Brian, Steve, Dave, Jim, and Larry...Thanks for the great second half of the adventure, too. AND all the great help and teamwork in trailblazing, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc to navigate the obstacles we encountered. I, too, would do it again tomorrow in the same conditions. Although, I would prefer I had brought the right rain gear, that was my screwup. It was a good day.

And Mike, Big Thanks for the fuel! It might have been tight with our sidetracking if you hadn't topped us off before you left. That was a HUGE relief not to be worrying about fuel and think we were(as WildTurkey would say)LLAMF.
Not that I ever doubted you Hap!

The whole problem stems from the fact that the idiots that log on the trails wipe out any signs of where the trail picks up on a road crossing. We would have had an easier time by far with that dang laminated map I have sitting right in front of my ugly mug, do you know how careful you have to be unfolding a wet map

What would help is for all the jerks that feel a need to destroy intersecting roads signs to "Get a life"

I was praying that I could put a wet map that was torn in 4 seperate peices together enough to get us back. Did you notice that was the last time I looked at the map, I knew where we were then and got us back to the staging area all safe and sound, well excecpt for your mishap, hope you're feeling better.

Props to Dennis on the big ole ute, had a handsaw that cut through one tree and pulled it off the trail.
