Easy trails, mostly logging roads. Lots of fun. I hope to see you there. Talk to Bing about spots, but I have never been there and it be full.
Originally posted by: xdwnhlr Ok, I know, I know.....Wow I ask alot of questions!! What kind of trails are there? Also, do you still have spots open, or do we need to take care of our own reservations?
Good evening PSAR. What a bute of a day it has been.
Didn't make it to the map store today. SWMBO and I spent the day shopping for a new dishwasher. There are a LOT of places that sell dishwashers in the Seattle area. Second stop we made was Sears. Anyone want to guess where we ended up buying one?
Gonna try to get to the map store tomorrow - - - - right after I put in the new dishwasher.
Anyone have much experiance with GPS units? Thinking about getting one or taking the one off the boat and making a second mount to put it on the quad. Any thoughts on what to buy or if the Garmin from the boat would even work on a land vehicle?

Originally posted by: HappaRap I don't ever remember all the sites being taken, there's always room up there. We do have a blast up there, it's a great place to ride.
If we can get a spot, I'm fairly certain that we will show up. But I'm wondering which quads to bring. The Suzuki Z400's (which are more suited for good ol trail riding and they have skids) or our new Suzuki R450's (that don't have the low end like the 400's and don't have skids and are WIDE).

Tell the truth, you just don't want to lift my quad off me when I flip over on Bill's Hill

Actually I missed a day of work today because of Nate's truck breaking down in Kalama and will not be at work tomorrow since we are taking Nate to the airport.
So it will require me to work this weekend to catch up.

Bill's Hill is pretty tight with switchbacks, (many have ventured down, few have ventured up), then there's Full Throttle Hill, it's wide with loose dirt, you'll never see the top of it. I would say skids are not necessary up there, but, that doesn't mean you won't find a rock and scrape your bottom.
