Thank you Jayna! Not used to typing one-handed though and I need to sit on the right one so I don't use it

Randy,

It's doing pretty well, sore as a bee-och though and not too useful yet so Hap is still on kitchen duty and has been a HUGE help to me. Big thanks to my hubby!!

Get the surgery done. Don't wait like I did and end up with semi-useless hands. I'm so bad that I even had it in the elbows (the crazy bone nerve) and all I got was pain relief and loss of feeling, strength and dexterity in both hands. If you have a really good surgeon and only have your wrists done, 2 to 3 weeks and you should be good to go at your age. The elbow thing is a whole other world and recovery is in months not weeks.
What i got goin on is a Ganglion Cyst I have to belive its cased from trauma
OFC, I had one of those also. It was on my leftt hand on the upper part of my wrist. When i bent my wrist this big cyst would stick out. Very gross looking. I went and saw a doctor and he took one look at it and said it was a ganglion. Anyways he told me i had 3 options. 1) leave it alone and it might go away 2) shoot the cyst with a shot of steriod to hopefully kill it 3) have surgery (but the cyst might come back). Needless to say i left it alone and it finally went away. If you want, i still have the card that he gave me with the hand specialist name and number, that i can give you, if you want to get it removed.
