Wow! It's raining like crazy here. Hope the troops in Easton are fairing better or they will be needing pontoons on their quads. So much for thinking the gray skys "will burn off later".
Now that might have helped my 450 with that creek crossing. Geez. It gained 6" of depth from the time we crossed to the time we came back on the last ride. My poor air filter took a beating. But then, I wasn't dry from the previous trip trying to float it down the creek. DM, I might have some fishies in my boots you can have for your pond! Thanks for the rescue everyone. Marci, hope your boots dry out.

It wasn't doing much more than sprinkling when I left at 8pm and snow/rain on the pass.
Quads do float. Upside down!

That's a very good example of why you should be standing up on landing, not sitting on the seat!

Mine was upright, but the creek was moving swiftly and I was trying to take an alternate route that was supposed to be shallower than the 3.5 feet we were pushing through at the normal x-ing spot. as soon as it started spinning tires and throwing water all over me, I had to bail to try to get out. As soon as I bailed from the quad it started downstream towards a tree. I was very very wet after that and had one more ride to do.
I gotta say, that R450 hauls the mail around the rails out there. I got to flat fly and it took the potholes and corners like a dream.

All in all, it was a great trip. Always my privilege and pleasure to hang out with such a great group of people. It was really nice to get to meet the new folks, too. The Potluck was great, as usual. Thanks everyone. Got some tinkering to do to the Z and got to get my R cleaned up. Can't wait for Florence. Just a little over a month. Wahoo!

Hope everyone has/had a safe trip home. I am headed home to get some sleep! Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning PSAR

Well glad to see it's NOT raining this morning just the "little" we got I was sick of real quick haha

Well we took Wonderboy, the Brown Kid, Trev, Ron & I out to dinner & Kart TRaxx last night for DJ's BD & had a GOOD time!! The 3 big boys did good thier 1st race they ended 1st,2nd,3rd It was Ron, DJ & Kyle in that order, Kyle got the fastest lap time of that race!! There was alot of people there too. They did 2 races each, the 2nd one there were a couple guys out there being a little rude but it was all good funny to watch!!
Trev even got to drive the karts upstairs he done GREAT for his 1st time, the first run he was by himself & the guy gave him 3 stars on his "ability" after the 2nd race he was up to 4 out of 5 He drove really good & figured out how to counter steer after the 1st few laps!! I didn't race but am glad I didn't after watching the 3 guys shaking thier hands/wrists hahaha

Just fair warning DON'T eat @ King's Buffet in Everett by Harbor Freight BLAHHHHHHH that place was a PIG STY & didn't have near the good food the one in Marysville has

Bill thanks for the call I told Ron if we are going to go watch races in the rain one of our kids had better be racing hahaha he agreed Wonder how Villapota(sp) did we watched him win the race before his 1st win in the lights that is pretty cool we figured since he is from here he'd probably do good in the rain/mudd!!

Well everyone have a good day I'm off to plant some flowers & maybe work on my quad Ron was trying to easy out the broken bolt & the easy out broke off in it that just SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! Our local shop wanted $125 to fix it Dayummmmm so he & Bobby will see what they can do otherwise we may have to have our machinists do it!!!

Kym, you know I can't give that info out on this site. Are you trying to get me into trouble?

made it down the hill in one peace!!!

Easton was cool,,,a little sun, little wind, little rain,,,a few sparks,,,,snow up high.

Killer food last night,,,,roasted pork and cheesy potatoes were awesome......so was the shortcake and the shortcake lady!!!

Pretty good sized group too,,,,we outgrew our corner in the back

nice to meet all the new faces too!!! Wish i could have done a little more riding,,,,but nothing is tense or tight today,,,,so I have accomplished my goal

thanks for the good times once again!!
