Thanks Q4F, I'll give them a call. Are those gun shops or riflesmiths by chance?

Wow! It's raining like crazy here. Hope the troops in Easton are fairing better or they will be needing pontoons on their quads. So much for thinking the gray skys "will burn off later".

Hey Rod,
I lost my info.
What pipe and jetting did you put on the 250ex???
Do you have nerfs on it also, if so which ones and do they fit nice?

Hey Cubed,
McCanns does, or use to, do both. They have been around since forever.
If anybody would know who your talking about, they should. Hopefully anyway...

End of a quiet day. Rain has finally stopped, hope the folks at Easton didn't float away.

Thanks Q4F for the additional info. We didn't get to go quad shopping today, son has come down with a bad cold. Just what he wanted for his visit.

That's it for tonight.

Now that might have helped my 450 with that creek crossing. Geez. It gained 6" of depth from the time we crossed to the time we came back on the last ride. My poor air filter took a beating. But then, I wasn't dry from the previous trip trying to float it down the creek. DM, I might have some fishies in my boots you can have for your pond! Thanks for the rescue everyone. Marci, hope your boots dry out.

It wasn't doing much more than sprinkling when I left at 8pm and snow/rain on the pass.

Let's see, I went with a FMF Megamax slip on, jumped up to a 110 main (I think) and put four airbox vents in the lid. Also a 1/4 turn - 1/2 out on the air/fuel mixture screw.
No nerfs.
