It was great. We road thursday, friday and saturday with a few minor thunderstorms interferring. Sunday the rain got serious and we passed on riding and went back to the house and at pizza and napped. Met some new people from North West Quad Riders and generally had a great trip and also took some pics. Did lose a trailer wheel bearing on the way home, but it was in Olympia when we stopped for dinner (it was fine when we stopped for gas in Portland and at the rest area near Winlock. I left the trailer with my 400 on it at the Red Robin and sped home. Got the F250 and the double axle trailer and went back and got them (They are still on the trailer as my son-in-law was admitted to St. Peter hospital tuesday and had a heart cath wednesday morning. Brought him home this afternoon). SWMBO said she would make sure the trailer and quad were safe and stayed there, with her 357 of course. We plan on a second trip this fall. Anyone interested?

Since the 4th is on Tuesday, is everyone staying up there for the actual holiday or coming home on the holiday?

 

Depends on how late in the fall. We are going to Mexico late September or October. At least that is the present plan, kind of depends on how the weather is in Mazatlan. If it's still hot and humid we will wait till it ain't. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I'm going over to the farm this next week if the rain has stopped and we can get out in the fields without sinking out of site. So dang wet right now you can't even mow the lots around the barns. Wild Rye is as tall as a man and going to be a real problem even with the brush beater. Let me know when you plan on going, also if you are planning any rides in the near future for the Turtle Patrol.
