Evenin' PSAR!
Just got back from Minnesota, had a family reuinion out there. Wife and son hadn't seen the mid-west, so we drove out in the motorhome. What a long **** drive! 3800 miles on the odometer. Saw the painted canyons in ND. Saw the Medora musical in ND. On the way back we caught Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Mamoth Pit, and some other schtuff.
Still buzzin' from the drive...

Spent the day being "The husband in tow" with SWMBO and D-in-L. Our son was also in tow. We must have been down every isle in Fry's at least twice, nearly every item in Costco was inspected and then we went grocery shopping. D-in-L is from Mazatlan in Mexico and this was a new experiance for her. Those two women were acting like school girls turned loose for the first time. What a hoot! Have no idea what the total cost for today was but I do know we brought home enough food to keep us eating for quite a while. Seems cooking classes are about to start with each of them teaching the other regional dishes. Seems like a win/win situation for me. When I was in Mexico helping remodel the building the kids had bought I got addicted to REAL Mexican food. Tomorrow home made tamalies Yum Yum Gooood.

So wouldn't it be wiser to get a machine that can stop and start on the hills (I mean we do live in western Washington you know), rather than ride such a limited piece of equipment? I suppose now you will tell us there are no jackasses on sporties.

how is the gas card feeling?
how did they like the misquitoes?
Mamoth pit is a must see, I like that kind of stuff. Absolutely amazing how many of those things fell in, and over such a long period of time. Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse are neat, but you can only look at it so long. Approximately 30 seconds for me. I'd sped 3 days there if I went again to see more caves and other things. I think Sturgis is next week...
We also went to Jewl Cave. That was good too. Although, Carlsbad Caverns are better caves in my opinion.
Wive helped out with the driving. I ran a 102 temp on the 5th, we hung-out in Madora that day and she drove on the 6th. But yeah, I'd take a cat-nap while she drove.

Mosquitos were plentiful. We stayed at Lake Bemidji...
