Mamoth pit is a must see, I like that kind of stuff. Absolutely amazing how many of those things fell in, and over such a long period of time. Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse are neat, but you can only look at it so long. Approximately 30 seconds for me. I'd sped 3 days there if I went again to see more caves and other things. I think Sturgis is next week...

We also went to Jewl Cave. That was good too. Although, Carlsbad Caverns are better caves in my opinion.

Wive helped out with the driving. I ran a 102 temp on the 5th, we hung-out in Madora that day and she drove on the 6th. But yeah, I'd take a cat-nap while she drove.
Next time you travel to Rushmore, and I suspect Crazy Horse, take a spotting scope with you. Up close and personal makes a big differance.

Too bad you were down for a couple of days but really good you had a co-driver. When I went to Mazatlan last fall I drove both ways by myself, well just me and the dog , and that 2500 miles each way got old and long really fast.

Glad you had a good trip.

They weigh like 45 tons, or something like that. I don't remember how much for sure, but I think its like 90,000lbs. That is a heavy quad.

Nope didn't run into him. had plenty of room to stop. not to mention that we were going up hill, I slowed down real quick!
The trail breaker is never at fault for what happens behind him.
This is why i Like to lead
1) that jackass on the Ute that thinks he is funny stopping on a hill he knows you can't start on..
2) the jackass on the ute
3) I gotta find my own rythem along the path.
Why do I have to be a Jackass??? Dick
I wasn't aware of you having a problem, so the jackass is the other guy.

So wouldn't it be wiser to get a machine that can stop and start on the hills (I mean we do live in western Washington you know), rather than ride such a limited piece of equipment? I suppose now you will tell us there are no jackasses on sporties.
some of the fun is going where you shouldnt be going Its like takin a GEO metro down a jeep trail
I 100% Agree, now just think where you could go on a ute
I know where i can go on a ute.. did you forget i ride a few. though generally they are unecessary for most of our public land.. more of a challenge with 2wd wuss
ohh it's on biatch I can't wait tell we ride together
can i go?
fo sure
