Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

shift on the fly 4x4... thumb switch.

My wife has to ride an automatic... she lost her left foot due to a motorcycle accident. She likes her scrammy... it's a nice machine. Bing's wife has one too.

It is a plush ride at low speeds on the trail (equivallent to 1st and 2nd gear). At high speeds on the whoops, it will be a handfull. Sporties have tunable suspension. If you are on whoops, you'll figure out what I'm talking about.

If you're going to ride it... I'd think hard about what you want. I thought the same thing when I got mine. I thought it was enough, then I decided I liked to do things the sporties could only do. You don't see me side-hilling on a scrammy... They'll roll... hard. Don't get me wrong, it's a good machine and I like to ride it (when I don't have the predator available). It will go just about anywhere. I don't like high speeds (you wouldn't know it by last weekend), I like the accelleration and throttle response the shifting sporty provides... Just think hard before you say you have decided.

Thanks Karl,

It would be mostly for my wife. I will eventually get me a real sportie. I just have to get all the kids set up before I get an extra quad. But I would seriously like to get rid of the Foreman and get my wife a different quad she would have more all-around fun on. There are just so many to choose from, that I dread researching what to get her. A 4x4 would be good in case she needs it on the trails, but want her to have fun in the sand as well. I haven't choosen yet, but the Scrammy is a good start. Sounds like it could work for her. Sean - Hahaha - just went back and read this one, I hadn't noticed it until Bill quoted it. Yeah, we see a few parked along the road sometimes really cheap (I guess I should say inexpensive ) ones and Larry will check them out and look over to me and I kind of put my nose just a little bit in the air. Can't help it, I have been spoiled way too much in my life . I think you have to have what you are comfortable with and everyone has a different comfort level and mine is just a little more posh than some Not too much, just a little....

Bill - I has seen many that look much more "weathered" than yours I think it is great that you have one to share with Marci and the boys!

ttfn,...

I don't think many want the "Eddie" special

Well June does seem good to me. It really doesn't matter Sandlake or Coosbay I think Coos might be a lot more fun. I just gotta find out what my schedule will be like after April. But I will try.

That movie is my all time favorite. I can't even count how many times I watch it. I probably could turn the sound down and recite the whole movie. he he

The American Pie movies are hilarious also. I roll all over the house laughing when I watch them.

Poor Hap hasn't seen the American Pie movies yet, either one.

I think I'm going to have to rent them both and plan a movie night for us one Saturday night. We have not done that in so long.... Pizza, a beer ( that's all I'm good for ) and movies, sounds like a plan to me!!

Now I just have to pick a night when I know he is not riding that day so he can stay awake for the movies
