Guess I'll have to give up my milk money for lunch for the next year

Does this mean that U are not gonna make Urs into a low, fast, blasting machine, for Goldendale?

Which brings up a QUESTION???

What are people (espescially us beginner/first timers) doing to ur quads in prep for Goldendale)?

What was that with Dingers swingarm bolt? Is this a problem with Z400 and clones that we need to watch for?

Val, and everybody else.

I am still thinking about a get together. I know that we have already done Round Table Pizza in Federal Way. The one thing I did like about that place was that the room we got to use was off of the main area and we could pretty much be ourselves. If any one knows of another facility that has that sort of set up (besides McDonalds) let me know. We really do need to have time to do our visiting and planning for rides other than when we ARE out riding.

What kind of turn out is PSAR going to present for the poker run? I know that Berta and I are gonna be there. I havent heard too many people discussing it.

Hey YoDaddy, how is registration coming along for that? Slow or fast. Need to get mine in soon I suppose.

Also Val, Im not sure how much of a quad you are looking for, but if you would like to ride Bertas Trail Boss to see how comfortable it is, let me know. Its only a 330cc but it does fine for her.

Hmmmm, what else. Oh yea, if theres going to be a poker night, that sounds like fun. I would be able to buy a new quad the day after that. (yea right).

Hey Bill, I didnt hear any sort of response yet from you about riding at the Rock on Sunday. We are still thinking about going. Let me know.

Geez, no wonder my post count never goes up. I talked to 5 people in one post. LOL.

Oh well, time to go and vacuum the lawn while its dry.

Is it going to be capitol forest? Are the trails opened up yet or is it still just the forest roads? Will my brother in law be able to take his bug out with us if we are just goingto be on the raods?

If I was buying another quad for the dunes, I'd go with the Preadapuss, I feel it's a better duner. For the trails, I'd stick with the Rappy. Predapuss has less torque, but revs higher. The ride is much better on the Predapuss, lower, wider and seat height is also lower. In a drag race, you'll get alot of different answers, but from my experience with 2mny, he beats me every time.

I'm sure somebody will disagree with me, but I've ridden the Predapuss in the dunes and it's sweet for the ride, but doesn't have that arm twisting torque like the Rappy. Final answer,

Dunes=Predapuss
Trails=Raptor

Are you even considering the 450's?

I don't think I want a 450. The yfz is impressive, but at sand lake last weekend no one would line up that was on a trx. I am going to keep my 400 but getting rid of the banshee. The 400 hundred works well in the woods so I'm thinking new dunes/ fast trail quad.

Sounds like we need to do a fundraiser for Hottie's Scrammy. I have all the cardboard we need, and permanent markers. If we each take a freeway off-ramp for a couple weekends, we should get a good start for her.
The goodwill is a good place to get clothes for this. Spend 6 or 7 dollars, make a few tears,and you're set.

I'm readyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
LOL!! i can see the signs reading something like this- "hopeless: need money to help friend buy quads"

goldendale...
I might put in a new set of rings.
the type of race that it is, stock quads can actually do well... in a long race, riders ability will show through the most, barring mechanical problems... best mod you can do is a tether kill switch, then preventative maintenance & get in shape. plus, if you make big changes, your machine may handle different than what you're used to.

i think happ's decided to put that money where it counts for more points.

with the Z- that's not a common problem as far as i know, i had the nut loose once on my LT250R but after tightening it again i had no more problems... if you replace the bolt, after the 1st ride just re-check the torque & it should be fine. it's a good thing to check on every bike.

Went to the gravel pit near Bellingham yesterday. There's alot af great trails there. Put the locker and 28" Gators to the test. There's alot of deep mudholes with trails around them for the two wheel drives. Had water coming over the front racks in one hole and had to back out of it.
My son was there with his Raptor and his wife on her Warrior. He put Mudlites on the Raptor and was throwing mud 30 Ft. He was able to do wheelies in the slick mud also. Those tires hook up great.
