I'm re-modeling the back yard... freakin' drain field went south before we went to Minnesota (it's 30 years old). Got a new design and contractor. Have several huge holes in the back yard at the moment... It will be done next week though.

Just have to plant grass next month.
Ugh! We put in two fields last year at the farm. On the bright side the grass will be really green in that area.

Ok, the carpet and padding are out of the living room and dining room. I have got all of that nasty gripper board out and the baseboards (figured I would paint the walls before putting in the new flooring.)

Time to get out the pliers and get the tacks out that they used to attach the padding. But first, I'll head over to the dump and offload the carpet and padding and stuff while its all dry. If it rains and gets wet, it'll cost me more since they charge by the 100 pounds.

The floors underneath are an interesting mix of painted planks in one part of the house and particle board in another part

Last time I enjoyed this little project the installer had used a small staple gun. If that's what your pulling out try an awl to get them started and a pair of bent nose needle nose pliers to pull them. Worked best of anything I tried but it's a real PITA. Lets see I would like to re-model the kitchen and extend it another 2 feet into the garage. I would then like to put some pergo flooring from the front door to the start of the living room and then into the kitchen. I would then like to get rid of my clothes closet in the master bedroom and extend the bathroom to make for a bigger shower that we need. Then I would like to extend the master bedroom into the back yard so the bedroom would be bigger. Then I would like to do some landscaping into the backyard so I might be able to grow some grass back there in the future. Then I would like to have a deck installed to put a massive hot tude on the party deck. Oh and I need to tear the roof off of the house and put new plywood on the roof and have new shingles put on.

Problem is.....................................I don't have any money! The wife stole it.
