I cracked the frame on my Z400!!! Two weeks ago I had a pretty bad crash doin a hill climb in Cle Elum. After the crash I was looking at the frame and I noticed 2 big cracks just above the front shock mounts. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] The cracks went almost all the way around the tubing. I just bought a 04 DVX frame with a Bare Performance Gusset kit and a fresh high Gloss Powder coat. Transferring everything over to the new frame is a TON OF WORK!! I finally finished today. Tomorrow im gonna try those hill climbs again. A warning to all Z owners watch by your front shock mounts.

At least you had another frame to transfer directly over to. I took mine apart, gusseted it, then sent it out for powder coating(and sent the motor out for some work-since it was already out of the frame[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] ) Had to remember how to put it back together after a month of having it completely torn to pieces. It was good experience. I know my quad top to bottom now.
