"A pints a pound the world around" Quoted from Mrs Largent, taught first, second and third grades at the Centerville school from about 1947 till the mid 60's. Woe be it to any kid that could not convert gallons, quarts, pints, Lbs and Oz. The mere mention of her name makes most of the adults in the area sit up straight and say "Yes Mam". Would that teachers today could run a tight ship and teach as she did. Never met a person that was in her classes that didn't love and respect her in later years.

Wow, you guys been postin while I was holding packages and driving for two shopping crazed women. SWMBO and Daughter-in-law have done Southcenter today. I think I could have bought a new quad for the damage they did.

Did manage to sneak off and buy some Slime. Settled on 13 OZ per tire. Give it a try and see what happens. Going to RMC tomorrow and look at a smaller quad. Kind of think I need something a little smaller and easier to maneuver around.
So Mike, you were impressed with how that 250 hauled butt around Capitol Forest the last couple of weeks. I was too, but I already have one available, if SWMBO isn't riding.
Yup, I figure if it can haul you around something of that size would be able to put out a little extra effort and do the same for me. I'm thinking 4WD with a locker front if such a thing exists. IRS would be nice too. Wish list, don't know whats out there.
The Arctic Cats of the era of my 250 had all those features, but they dropped that model line in 2006 for a POS Kymco version with a straight rear axle and 2X4 only. I have a buddy who just bought a Honda with full time 4X4 which he is modifing to a selectable 2X4-4X4 but I don't know if there is a locker involved, but it has a straight rear axle. The manufactures are really not paying much attention to the smaller engined utes anymore. A really stupid move if you ask me. Everything is about bigger engines (Tim "The ToolMan" Taylor thinking is taking over) in both the sporties and the utes.

2006 Suzuki R450 Quad Racer. Which is why it's such a pain to find parts. Too new. It might just have to be without a tail light for a while. Heck, I haven't even put the tabs on it yet. Sean has one I might be able to "accquire" if he ever makes a dunes trip. j/k Sean!

In most cases, you lose gas mileage when going to a cold air, more power, less mpg.

next step is street racing Kymmy..... have you been watching PINKS for your launch practice?
Not true. My 1969 428CJ would get 10mpg with the ram air system closed. With it open, full time the mileage was 11.5mpg. Never could really tell the difference in power, except with timing equipment at the race track.

Talking about PINKS....Did you guys know that they are coming to Pacific Raceways to film two shows? I think it would be kinda fun to watch a filming in person.
