That makes total sense. It only had a few minutes of idle time on it after the new fly-wheel was installed.

The key is for aligning the flywheel on the crank (timing). The taper on the crank and flywheel when torqued are what hold the flywheel in place. Oh yeah, make sure there are no burrs on the crank and flywheel tapers before torquing.

The key to all of this is having some experience to draw from...

Since I don't know a thing about the inside of that motor and don't have the appropriate tools, I'm hesitant to open it up. However, you don't learn if you don't try. Sounds like I'm going to have to get over that rather quickly. Just hate to screw something up due to my ignorance.

We'll get over this little bump in the road and start putting the smack-down soon...

Since the bike didn't test and tune last weekend, Albany is off this weekend. Hate to pay the race fees if I don't know how it's going to run. I'll plan for a trip to Beverly this weekend... go un challenged and take that "King of the Chit-Hole" title from BigD .

Hey Mike, Chuck is in even if his Suzuki 500 is in the shop. Where we gonna go ride?
Have no idea. Only places I've been you know. Really have no preferences, did Chuck mention something last week about trying a different area? Might as him.

Haven't you heard? The new Super Blasto Extra Long Sky Raker shotguns and related ammo allow the Blue Sky Shadow Shooters to take out even high flyers and armored feathered foul.

Least that is what it seems like when I see some of the hunters on our place blasting away at geese that would be out of range for light Anti-Aircraft cannons.
