Good Morning PSAR!!!

I made it back from a week worth of hunting on Sunday. Still trying to catch up on my sleep. There was about 17 of us (all family) that went hunting for elk. We got a rabbit and 1 cow. Not very good, from getting 7 last year. The muzzleloaders and bow hunters cleaned it out and we didn't get enough snow to bring in the elk from the higher hills. I only saw 2 elk (cows) the whole time i was there. I didn't even see any deer either. Not a very good year. I guess this year it's back to eating beef year round. There was also a guy that got lost in the woods. One of my cousins went and spoke with the search and rescue and basically told them where the lost guy was. Sure enough they found him exactly where my cousin said. My cousin has gotten lost in the same area years ago. All in all i had a good time teaching my two nephews how to hunt. I don't think i will play catchup either. Maybe on my lunch break i will. Take care i got ALOT of work to do.

I just got back from checking the river. The water is starting to over top the dike on the Snohomish-Lowell river road[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

 

WQ i reckon thats why its called hunting.. otherwise it would just be called killing.. Its sorta like fishing.. if you always catch stuff you aint fishing your goin catching.. thats why its not going duck huntin.. you say Im going to kill some ducks. or slay ducks as MB says [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Hunting is a term used by those who have poor records [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Damn, news report says dike has broken in Snohomish river system but didn't say where or what side of river!
I think I need to go to move my sister-in-law.

TP have you heard from your bro? Justin was telling me that he got his camper, boat, and atv (not sure about the motorcycle) and that he lost everything. I really hope that is not the case. Justin heard that the water level was up to his gutters on his house. We were trying to get ahold of him to make sure he had some where to stay. He is always welcomed at our house.

My cousin's had to get rescued by a hoovercraft(or whatever it is called) right down the street from TP's brothers house yesterday. These floods are nothing to mess around with.

TP was by this this morning and told me that Jeffy had 8" of the wet stuff in his house. he was headed that way to yard the carpet out and get to scooping the mud out.
