I did pull the carb and look at the reeds as well......phock!
If it's fouling the plug after just a quick Brrrap! I would suggest you check the crankcase. Sounds like it might be full of gas and if this is the case you could loose a bearing very quickly.

I've seen outboards (they use the same style of pulse fuel pumps) do this. The pump still works and runs the motor, but the diaphram has a hole in it and is bleeding fuel into the crankcase along with feeding the carb. I have a small vacuum pump that I can apply vacuum to the crankcase side of the pump and see if it holds. You probably don't have a vacuum pump, so I suggest you get a new diaphram for the pump and replace it. It's the cheapest and easiest way to do it. To clear the crankcase, drain the carb and disconnect the fuel line to the fuel pump from the tank. Now turn the motor over. If it fires there is fuel in the crankcase. Keep cranking til it won't fire anymore. Reassemble and you should be ready to go if you don't have a leak in the pump.

Ok, I will check back in later. I have a date with a clogged septic tank intake screen on my only day off this weekend
Looks like I a little too early. I won't be going into work after all. Got a pump reserved for 8am for my crawlspace under the house and that ain't rain water!!! Didn't have a clogged septic but a messed up cleanout trap under the kitchen sink that connects to the main sewage line, and would backflow right out into crawlspace. So reserved a pump and a case of bleach, rubber boots, old wet-suit that Lu's been bugging me to throwout, and a couple of closepins.

HAHA, sometimes it's good to know a geek or two, eh? Glad it worked. Pretty nifty, huh? I already had it, but OFC shared the knowledge before I did. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

All this gun talk, makes me curious, just how does one obtain a concealed weapons permit?
You go to the court house pay 70$ and get your fingerprints taken. They do a background check and that is it. I don't really agree with the way they do things here in Washington. Many states require you to complete a 3 day course and then you have to qualify every year with the size of weapon you want to carry, I think that is a very good idea. most state qualifications are very very simple, if you can't hit an 8x11 target at 25 ft 8 out of 10 times you have no business carrying a gun But they have no such standards here in Washington which surprises me considering how liberal this state is.

Good Gawd! Glad mine didn't back-up under the house. Good luck!
