Thanks Bear, I'll take a look at them. There's a Harbor Freight store about six miles from here.

Well, I pretty much know who's packing in PSAR, it's the person who cuts you off on the freeway, you get pissed, do something stupid and they shoot at you, catch my drift?
I completely understand and that is exactly my point When they lose their temper and pull out a gun I pull mine out and smile... I haven't met anybody yet that didn't have a realization of the situation and stop acting like a jackazz with a quickness Kinda like the guy in north Tacoma last summer. I was driving down the road with all my windows down, stopped at a stoplight and there were 4 gang bangers on my right on the curb one walked all the way around to the drivers door said "what up fool?" I am sure I was about to get car jacked or jumped... he saw my .45 clearly in my hand and told me to have a nice day and apologized for bothering me

I was offensive/defensive tightend for Orange Grove in the early 70's, I still pay very close attention to South Texas High School Football, where I grew up, I started playing Football in 4th grade, played every year till graduation.

Similar thing happened to my wife when she was working at an Eastside hospital. An unarmed security guard was walking she and another nurse to their cars in the wee dark hours of the morning when three men approached them and demanded money. SWMBO reached in her purse as if to comply and came out with her pistol. The three promptly left the area while the guard was on his radio calling for help.

Many times the mere showing of a weapon will bring a halt to a dangerous situation. The fact remains, however, if a weapon is carried the owner had better have thought the matter over carefully and be ready, willing and able to use it when the situation requires.

I believe a few PSAR Members divorced the thread due to topic issues.

I wouldn't call it silly. RR27 and Big D spoke what was on thier minds, as did Bear and OFC. It is a shame, that we as a once close knit group can't repect each others opinions. That lack of respect, from both parties involved, has created a gap.

My personal opinion is this, we the PSAR are a very diverse group, we are old, young, flat trackers, trail bombers, drag racers, sand duners, mx's, male, female, tenters, taj majaler's, open trailer, rolling garage, root beer float toyota, 1 ton ford, single, married, moms, dads, brothers, sisters, working, retired, drinkers, sober, bald, aqua net using, people. I have grown to think of us as a giant family. Some of us get on each others nerves, it's gonna happen. Can we please respect the thoughts of our fellow PSAR members? Maybe use PM's more for questionable content. I.E. heavy firearm, political, and religeous talk. Just my .02 cents. Thank you for reading, that shows you truely care about our group. Ditto what he said. See why we missed you so much? Place wasn't the same without you, Reverend. Preach it brother MB!

Seriously, Come back everyone and let's all just get along and play nice. Come on PSAR! It's Thanksgiving time. Let's be thankful we have such a diverse group of really great people here.

The will only shoot at me once. If you can't lose your temper a little without pulling your weapon, then you have no business carrying one, EVER. It's call responding with appropriate force. Being cut off isn't a gun offense, it should be, but it isn't yet (think about it he just tried to hit you with 2,000 to 4,000 pounds of steel bullet). If your theory was correct there would be more dead guys at shooting ranges than you could count. There aren't because of one reason; "An armed society is a polite society". And if an A$$hole shoots at you for a traffic offense and you return fire, one of two things will happen; he will run away whining like a baby or if you are quailfied (no one should carry if you aren't) he will still be there when the cops arrive with his fired gun next to him.
