Fred Meyer. 200.00 for a 4x8 folding trailer that all you have to do is put a deck on and tie down apparatus. 3/4in plywood and 1 inch eyebolts are what i used. works great and folds up for storage.

SWMBO is wanting to buy me a new trailer to haul the quad on.
Took a look at the little 4' X 6' mesh deck they have at Lowe's for under $600.00 before tax, license and all of that.
It has 12" tires and plenty of load capacity. I have other trailers for hauling bigger stuff and am thinking of just a little, specific use, trailer for the quad. It's also small enough to drag around behind the quad on roads or over fairly open country which is a plus.
Anyone know anything about these little trailers, any experience or comments that may sway me toward or away from them?
I'm way to lazy anymore to get all the stuff together and build one. Especially when the cost would be within a hundred bucks or so all things considered.

I was never nasty to anyone and called no name thru the whole thing. But I wasn't respected and was called names. What everyone is unaware of, except one here, is that attacks continued after he said he was out of here, via PM and on other threads on the forum. There are several things that I find offensive that are brought on here on a regular basis, but I have never accused anyone of anything or condemned them for their views, actons or called names. If you want BigD back so bad, I will leave, as I never wanted or encouraged this situation. Someone else went postal at something they preceived was said (not even to them either) and I caught the brunt of it. Well, I am continuing to feel very unwelcome anymore and if what the group wants is me gone, it will happen.

With the boat you have the option of priming the engine with the squeeze bulb so you can test with the engine running. Don't know about your situation.
Looked at the Fred Meyer web site, the have the $200.00 trailer listed but it has 8" wheels. I want at least 12" so it won't make the cut. Local store does not have them in stock. Harbor Freight is looking better all the time. $230.00 with no deck wood.

I used a 4'X8'X1/2" exterior plywood and used some carriage bolts to bolt it on. I never fold the trailer so I didn"t cut it in half. I even fabbed some outside rails from some 1/2"X3" pieces using 2X4 for posts and used brackets for the corners and used a couple of hasps to hold the rear cross piece with hitch pins to hold them. The post brackets were in the kit. I assembled the trailer with my left arm in a cast in about 2 hours. With both arms, 45 minutes to an hour I would guess.

Be gone to the farm starting monday for five or six days, be after that before I get started on this. Are you up for a ride after Thanksgiving? Looks like they will be done with my quad by the time we come back so will be bringing it home. Maybe the following monday?
