Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Rancher, and anyone else who needs directions, to get to the pit take the belfair exit (left lane overpass) off 16 at Gorst (about 26 miles from Tacoma). Once in Belfair take a right at the first light (Bear says it's the only light, I've never gone any further so he must be right) onto clifton road. You're gonna go straight through a four way and continue till you see a turn to sandhill road. Take sandhill until you see a bunch of large concrete blocks marking a parking area. If thats not clear enough, it's past my bedtime and somebody will probably correct me.

Nope. I don't have time to mess with it till after turkey day. We're leaving for the farm tomorrow or early monday and wont be back till friday or saturday. Got it narrowed down to one from Harbor Freight or a home made one if I can find a good axle at the farm. Really in no rush.
I ran across a trailer here in Auburn, the guy says it can fold up in the center and has two pins at the front of the bed that you pull and the bed tilts back for loading. It's 4x8, 3/4" deck, side rails, 1 ton new axle, 12" marine grade wheels with bearing buddies, jack with wheel up front, nice lighting, looks brand new, very well made, $500, may be more than you want to spend though.

All this gun talk, makes me curious, just how does one obtain a concealed weapons permit?
You go to the court house pay 70$ and get your fingerprints taken. They do a background check and that is it. I don't really agree with the way they do things here in Washington. Many states require you to complete a 3 day course and then you have to qualify every year with the size of weapon you want to carry, I think that is a very good idea. most state qualifications are very very simple, if you can't hit an 8x11 target at 25 ft 8 out of 10 times you have no business carrying a gun But they have no such standards here in Washington which surprises me considering how liberal this state is.

Washington's concealed carry law has been on the books for well over 40 years and has not been changed, at least it was that long ago when I got mine, oh yeah it was legal to get one at 18 back then. That's pretty much why it is like it is. Back then no one had thought up the idea of required courses yet. In a couple of states, where I've had permits, they waived the course requirements because I was a military veteran.

Sounds just like the trailer Harbor Freight has. Is it red? That axle would be quite a bit heavier than the original if that is one of their trailers. Really thinking about building one now as I don't want the 8' bed. Six feet is long enough and be just a bit easier to park in the space available.

Actually what I'll probably do is put it together with the assistance of the old dude that lives next door.
If Ten is calling the guy next door an old dude somebody should check his pulse and make shure an EMT is present during the work
The gentleman in question is my senior by at least ten years. That qualifies him as an "old dude" and you may be right about the EMT.
