Hey Bing,

How was your camping trip? The weather was great yesterday, we tried to make our way to your camp, between missing signs and closed trails, well I guess you know, we didn't make it

Didn't Dirty Harry have a big azz revolver?
Yeah, but his was a 44 magnum. Mine is MUCH bigger.

just got home from tahuya,,,,sorry you guys never made it over to kammenga

woke up to 5 inches of snow today,,,and that crushed our 100'x60' circus tent tarp onto everything and made quite a mess.

the weekend was great,,,,a little damp and cold,,,,but altogether pretty enjoyable

One fella decided to run his WR450 into a tree just behind our camp at about 45mph,,,,and he was messed up something special. Broken arm, broken leg,,,trouble breathing, and bleeding from just about everywhere. We drove to town to call 911,,,and they were there in very short order (really impressed with the emergency services)
Please say a prayer for Chris Hadley,,,,,I hope he comes thru alright....

Then we try and leave tahuya,,,,and there is a line of motorhomes at the base of elfendahl road,,,,,,someone jackknifes a 5th wheel on belfair tahuya road just east of elfendahl,,,,,,so we had to play the waiting game and watch everyone get stuck in the snow. I am surprised we made it out of there,,,,,my truck is useless in the snow.

Airport Diner sunday brunch was pretty good this AM too....
time for a hot shower!!!!

Yeah, Harry carried a S&W 629 with an 8" barrel in 44 Mag. Of course today it is almost in the mouse gun catagory. I have to agree with TReX400 that a big revolver makes you feel like a "Bad Man", an old west term meaning, "someone not to be messed around with, it could be dangerous to your health" and not bad as in evil. Autos alway remind me of gangsters and cops who can't shot.

Oh yeah, snowed here about 3" , lost power about 3AM, came back on about an hour ago. Got my generator running at about 9AM, we did breakfast in the camper and I did a "snow ride"afterwards. It's melting now. They are saying more snow for tonight and tomorrow.

TReX400,

I broke out my map of Tahuya, the 2' square one I can read, and found the part of Mission Creek that was closed between Plantation Rd and Jones Rd, where we had to turn around on the second trip. We weren't that far from Elfendahl Staging Area, I think we just took a wrong turn on one trail. Basically, you can't access the southwestern Mission Creek area, which also includes connecting to the Tahuya River Trail from Mission Creek.

Everybody has been to Tahuya, but has anyone ever taken a ride at Green Mountain? Green Mountain I keep trying to get it together to ride there, but never have made it. I even have maps.

Get a revolver, you can wait until tomorrow to clean it. Autos suck that way.
