OK, just talked to HB, he figures we could do it for under a grand with some mods, which would be great. Then he had had a even better idea, turn it into my extended warranty. I think I purchased one and it should cover the damage.
This is what happened. We went riding a couple weeks ago after Jenna got out of the hospital. We took one of her friends how has never ridden before. She rode the whole day in 2nd gear. The bike started to smoke and had used up about half of its oil. The shop says it needs new piston, rings, bore the cylinder, the rod is blued, so the crank has to be replaced as well. basically they want me to bend over and take it. The bike cost me $3200 and they want $1900 to just rebuild the engine. Something seems wrong with this picture.

Hey all. It has been a long time since I've posted. I am in between houses and have limited internet. Did I see a few days ago there was some talk about a ride the week between x-mas and new years? That is around the time we are moing into our new house (if it's done by then) but really need to get out and ride. I'll be moving down to the maple valley area, so if any of you are locals maybe you can show me to the nearest riding..
