Good afternoon all. Welcome to the new members.

I just got off the phone with "Rip-Off Motorcycles" and they told me that my warranty would not cover the damage, as it was caused by continuous over-revving(SP) and it was abuse. I told them if they did not get the warranty company to cover it, I would just pick up the bike and do it myself.

So, I am picking up the bike on Tuesday and I will be getting ahold of HB for a little rebuild with some go fast stickers.

Can Not Wait Until The X-Mas Party, I guess I will just have to go pour me a cold one while I wait.
Take it to a different Stealership and request the warranty work to be done. Extended warranties are through the manufacturer, not the dealership, I think. A dealership with better customer service might be able to submit the work and get it done for you. Worth a shot.
Since this extended warranty is an insurance policy of sorts it should be covered under the state insurance laws. Try contacting the insurance commissioner and asking them to intervene in your behalf. I've never tried this with an extended warranty but do know it really gets a balky insurance company moving on vehicle damage claims.

Jayna fer her hay berners
Well, I bin around a lot of horses so I know they don't eat wood chips so I suspect it's for bedding. Never used it, always used oat straw.
Maybe you just wasn't offering them the right flavor woodchips

My pasture is a swamp in the Winter. Way too small for 2 hayburners, but ya gotta work with whatcha got, so I need to raise the whole kit and kaboodle about 18". About an acre or so. LOTS of fill material needed.

Thanks for the heads up though.
I would haul in a bunch of rock and have the horses live on that. our horses primarily minter on bassalt railroad ballast and they are all barefoot horses.

Jayna I know a good way to get the grass growing. Nice and thick and green. Mix (half and hlaf) amonia sulfate with weed and feed or any type of seeds. The amonia sulfate is the trick in getting it thicker, greener and growing fast. I put it down on my grass this last spring and we had to mow every weekend because it was growing so fast. I also missed a section so i have a nice big stripe in my front yard. LOL

Thanks for the suggestion, but I had grass growing until they came home and it rained for a month straight. Lots of natural fertilizer and such. Horses are hard on soft ground anyway, but my ground is really soppy in the winter even without them on it. If I can raise it, I am hoping they will at least not be in constant mud. It's all about the $$$ it would cost to do it the way I would like to. So I do what I can with what I have. They are elsewhere right now because of the nasty mud. Ongoing project I suppose.
