raptorchick,
I remember you mentioning that earlier when we first were planning the Pizza Fest
Not everyone will be available to do this, you guys just go have a blast and be safe

Well, I found a team mate for the GP race.
I am happy to say that Marci (nwcutie) and I are going to be partners.
Thanks to all who inquired, and best of luck to everyone in finding a partner.
No offence to all the guys that answered my add, but I do prefer to be in the women's class. I know some of the guys running amature, and after seeing them in action this weekend, they are quite fast. At least in the women's class, I have a chance at being competitive.

So what class is everyone racing in. After riding on the course I was wondering what class you all feel comfortable in. I guess i am trying to figure out where I should be. I don't want to embarass myself, but I don't want to ride with the kids either

There are going to be fast guys in all the classes and I don't think you would have to worry about embarassing yourself in any class, unless you decide to run with the pro's (or in the women's class).

i'm feeling the fun now... and my pocketbook will too. saturday had kinda crashed into a bail of hay after getting out of shape in a corner on the MX track, broke the hose nipple on my gas cap off.
i stayed the night, & was ready to ride sunday. i took it easy did a few laps on the MX track in the morning. they took a short break to do some watering & then changed direction to run the GP course. in my 1st lap on the GP course i hear a noise... so i pull over, rev the engine it sounds Ok so i go again... i hear it again. i pull off & look at the swingarm to find that my rear brake caliper had broken off and was being ground to bits by the chain. after putting the caliper on the nerf, i rode it in & investigated... i decided to load it up & head home
carnage for the weekend:
gas cap
rear brake line
rear brake caliper
rear brake caliper mount / adapter bracket
lower caliper slider bolt
upper caliper slider boot
one sore me
also needs to be done: rear shock rebuild
hopefully i can get it together enough to race next weekend. i'm going to investigate putting a different caliper on it.... it's going to be a busy week.
i had a great time, can't wait to run this next weekend & at the team race. i'm glad to see everyone made it back & unscathed other than soreness, bumps, & bruises.

Sorry to hear about the carnage!!!
I am sure we all know when we play hard we break stuff. Or lose stuff on the track.

I am still shooting for the Expert class. I know some others that will be in that class so it will be quite challenging. That's if my bike stays together.
