Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Yep, this is a private site, ran by somebody that has rules. He has the right to make the rules and enforce them. Maybe the term "Private Message" should be changed to not cause confusion, because he does have the right to look through them.

All I ask is that the rules be enforced on a fair and consistant basis.

Anyway, we just need to follow the rules. It's our responsibilty to read and know them.
I love this forum and don't want to do anything to jepoardize it, so I read through the rules once in a while

Turning depends on the limiter strap at the front of the track. Yes, technically the longer the track the harder they turn. But tightening up the strap pulls the front of the track up into the tunnel and applies more weight to the skis for groomed trail riding. Loosen up the strap for less weight on the skis for powder and high-marking. Too much weight on the skis and it will dart around. Mine was set up for the powder and required a little english to turn on the trails...

The tracks have really increased in length in the past few years... I haven't paid any attention. You'll have to decide what kind of riding you're going to do. I wouldn't get anything less than a 700cc.

I couldn't imagine sticking to the trails all day long... kinda like riding on a logging road ('cause that's what your doing).
