I've been out and about and University place is mostly in the dark.....no traffic lights! I wish people would learn how to to go thru a dark intersection!

We lost power before 8 last night. Fired up the generator and the fireplace insert and had heat and light and played cards and board games the rest of the night. The daughter abondoned her house in Matlock and came here with her two cats at 4 PM so it was still light for her to travel. Power came back at 5:30 this morning. But Shelton and most of the surrounding areas are still dark. We went to Olympia and half that place is without power still. Our fire station lost half of it's roof over the truck bays last night, plus they had a structure fire. Busy people last night and still today.

Long night, long day! Power was flickering when i got home. Went completely out at 8:30 last night. Justin got up at 3:30 and went to work. I was up just not out of bed. I got up at 4:45 got ready for work in the dark and went to work. Thinking that they would have power. Boy, was i wrong! The owner told us that we had to stay and work. Bunch of BS if you ask me. Power was out, phones didn't work and my cell phone wouldn't work there. Nobody's did. They finally left us go at 1. I'm tired and i have a birthday party to go to at 5. No damage at my house, just some branches on the ground.

A certain, very quick Banshee that has been around the PSAR dune rides has had it's price reduced to $7500.00
Trinity motor, Redline trans bypass, drag pipes and much more.

Angie, you were wondering how I do my chicken wings. I buy chicken drumettes and 1st & 2nd section wings from the freezer department at Fred Meyer.
Thaw the wings and then coat with flour and spices, (salt, pepper, etc...) I use a big bowl to do this.
Then deep fry them until they are golden brown and floating in the fryer.
Place on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Then put all wings in large bowl and pour a jar of Franks Red Hot Buffalo sauce on them and stir to thoroughly cover all wings. They are really good when they are still crispy!

It?s been awhile since I have been on here. I only have dial up and things can be a little slow on this site.
I am up for the ride on Saturday at Tahuya. Where are you meeting up? Hopefully we won't need the chainsaws after this wind storm.
You were at work very early yesterday, I fueled up across the street, saw your truck in the lot. Did you see that wreck last week between the container hauler and the red car right next to the fuel farm? Yikes
I didn't see it, but one of the installers took a picture with his camra phone and showed me. Didn't look to pretty!

Don't think I will be heading to Tahuya tomorrow, I'm sure it looks like a war zone after the wind storm!

Hey neighbors to the north...hope is calming down and hope all are safe. Nature can be a mother that's for sure. We got pounded down here not so long ago by devestating fires and sadly lost many homes and a few of our best and bravest fire fighters.

Good luck on the clean up and stay safe!
