Once again, it seems I'm the oldest on the ride hummmmm, Nickli and BigD, where are you older than I am old farts?
Larry, I wanted to go to Reiter this time. But your start time just makes it to early a departure time from my house. Chuck and I are gonna do a local ride out the 2400 Road and over to the gasline.
So, Bear, how was the ride today? Is Chuck getting used to that new ride?
Chuck and I rode for 3 1/2 hours. I rode from my house to his, then we headed out from there. The scotch broom and brush was laid over on the trails by the snow. Of course, Chuck has me lead and I was covered with the stuff. We had to turn back only three times on trails due to down trees. But overall no real problems. The creeks were all running and the puddles were frozen. Snow in all the open areas. Never saw another soul all day. Mike, you need to come over here and ride sometime. Like when you get off your lazy butt and go bring your quad back from the other side.

Chuck sold his Grizz in August and picked up a new Suzuki Vinson 500 manual shift with a solid rear axle and no locker. We added a winch to it and a rear rack bag. So far he is happy with it and figures he won't need the locker until we ride out at the fairground. But he says He always has me to drag his old butt out of the mud hole. Again I've been put in my place, I'm good for a tow truck.

Oh, I'm working on it. Glad you guys had a good outing and I can see the tow truck resemblance. I thought Chucks quad had the locker! He sure seemed able to go where he wanted. Course it wasn't wet or slick but we did get into some loose stuff.

last time I rode was over at the farm checking fences in the hills. Quad is brush scratched up worse than the last time you saw it and the winch will power in but the power out quit. Probably a switch or relay. Depending on the weather I will be bringing it back over in the pickup the 23ed or 24th. Be ready to ride shortly after that.

I will ride with you, but Chuck is scheduled for surgery the 23rd and he will be out for at least a month after that.
