Don't know what happened to my post below but YES the grips were fine on the hillclimb the rider in front of me was not, came to almost a stop in front of me so that made me sit & spin w/ about 10 riders behind me!! It sucked BAD I HATE being in the middle of hte back, then everyone else made it look REAL easy just going up oh well I suck & can't ride!!!!!!

Dm, you don't suck at riding. Almost everyone on the sporties had problems yesterday. Heck I got stuck in almost every single mud hole i went through. My tires suck and i had to get winched out of almost all of them. The hill climb that you are talking about was just because you didn't have a run at it. The group i was in we flew up that nobody had any problems. The only reason we all made it up was because we all had speed. But i did have some problems when we went to the lower staging area and coming back up that hill. I had to keep stopping and inching my way up the hill. I was to the point where i was walking my quad up the hill. I don't see that as being a bad rider, i look at it as being a difficult terrain. I also had to help Michael up on his 250. I think out of all the people that went, all of us at some point had to get help from each other.

thanks WQ haha, well it wouldn't of been so bad but Ron just gets pissy when I do that chit which then gets me flustered!!!!! I turned back cuz the hub nut was loose & I didn't want to do any damage to my rear end! I told Ron & DJ to go ahead but they wouldn't that just irritated me MORE!!!!! I was going to try & "walk" it up but Ron got it out & a little farther up the hill thats when I noticed the rear tire woobling, then after we got it tightened Joel came back to say DJ's case was cracked so that ruined the WHOLE day, go figure the ONE time he takes his race quad on a trail ride it breaks, we still haven't told grama & grampa they are going to be PO'd hopefully we can get a weld on it before they find out haha, anyway I'll wait till it's not so icey
Maybe i'll just become the "group cooker" you all bring the grub & I'll have it cooked for when you come back
