I was trying to work out some details, but looks like a ride at Darrington on Sunday is going to happen. All are welcome, of course!

Thinking breakfast at the cafe in Darrington.

Hey, I bet that would be a good jaunt for the TrAktor and not beat the snot outta the operator as badly as Walker. And what about a nice sunny Sunday ride for Carissa's parents? Rod? Everyone else?

Gonna be a beautiful day Sunday.
Where do you ride in Darrington? I am interested in this, though it may not be this weekend. I don't get that way too much, so I can't say that I know the area. Still, this is fairly close, so would be nice to know of some other spots close by. Thanks!

Chris

You take I-5N to the Arlington /Darrington exit not sure on the # MB would know , go right of the ramp & follow this out to the stop light(hwy 9), go left & stay to your right, turn right @ the next turn(lane is right turn only), follow Hwy 20 all the way out to DArrington, go thru town, you will come to a T & 4 way stop, turn left go about a block or 2 & turn right on Sauk Praire Rd.(sawmill) follow all the way out till the road comes to a "T" go left, follow road & campground signs to the end of road & you will be @ Derringer camp, you can stage from there or anywhere you want along the road if you want Hope this helps, it's fun riding up there that is our "home away from home" in the summer LOTS of camping/riding/drinking oh sorry LOL
You can go on logging roads or find some trails, most of them are dead ends but a few go places
Sounds great, thanks for the directions...btw, that is exit #208

Chris
HEY do you have "custom graphics" on your quad Just durious I was just checkin your site out, is that you or your employer? J/C always lookin' for "sticker makers"

Good Afternoon PSAR. Where did the sun go, it is raining again.

Our "Stable" is now full. I picked up Alida's new/used bike last night. I got a '04 Artic Cat DVX 400. It has AC Pro Nerf Bars w/ Heel Guards, Big Gun slip on (NO COWBOY, SLIP, NOT strap ), Air box eliminator(putting stock back on) & a full set of haulers. Pretty good condition, a couple of broken plastic mounts, but no big deal.

Did the DVX have the same problems that the LTZ had, some kind of coolant problem?? Let me know.
The water pump cover errosion was in the 05 Suzuki/Kawi. I don't think the AC had those problems, at least not for '04. Dunno if their '05 did.
they did not have an 05 dvx. only 04 and 06
According to AC's web site they had an 2005 DVX 400.

I have been doing some research on the Invisible Fence. Has anybody here ever used it? If you have how much did it cost you to get it installed? I really don't want to have another $5000 bill for vet visits if Tesa gets hit by a car. We are right on a main road, and people FLY on this road. I would rather be safe than sorry.

Tesa got a big goose egg right below her eye yesterday. She has been going to work with Justin and he had her out running around while he was wrapping his logs on the truck. He tossed the chain over the truck and he didn't know that she was on the other side. The chain hit her. I looked at it pretty close last night, Her eye seems to be ok from what I can see. She goes to the vet tomorrow so I'm sure the vet will notice it and check it.
I used the heavy duty heavy coated dog one with a husky i used to have (until she pulled a hose bib and 12 inches of pipe out of the back of my house and flooded the crawl space, kitchen and downstairs bathroom). It didn't phase her a bit. She would just run at it and yelp as it shocked her. Followed the whole video instruction and she just wasn't about to let a little shock stop her from exploring. I guess on some breeds it just doesn't work. She was kept in the back yard and I ran the wire along the inside of a 6 ft privacy fence and she still got out. Ended up giving her to the plumber who came to fix the hose bib. He had huskies before and 6 kids to keep them busy.
