Oh my gosh.........Finally back from Phoenix late Sunday night, slept all day yesterday.
What a long freaking trip. Left Wednesday night at 8:30, arrived Friday morning at 0200.
Slept until 0700, then up and ready for practice.
After second practice, Ash's radiator was toast. Thought we were done for the weekend.
Thanks to a few that helped, and our saviors from Extreme Mini-Quads Northwest that brought a spare parts bike and it just happen to be one of the water cooled DRR's.
After much figuring, cutting, welding, and fabricating....We totally redid her cooling system in about 4 hours.
They saved the weekend.

All I gotta say is that I am so proud of Ashley.
She did super in her first "big" race. She rode her rear off.
She raced both shifter classes.
She got the Holeshot in both races.
She was neck and neck and trading of the lead in the first race, then got caught up behind some minis and got way behind and was in third.
Then she rode like heck to try and catch up. She scared the heck out of us with a ballsy and plain awsome pass, squeezing between two other and hitting a big tabletop in 4th gear pinned and 3 wide on the last lap to reclaim 2nd place.
She got second in that race and the other kid that rode with us got 1st. He did a super job to.

She holeshot the fastest quad out there (Cole Fite) in the second race, but only buy a hair. But she did it.
She finished 3rd in that race, and our other friend finished 4th. The couldn't quite keep up with Cole Fite, that kid can ride.

Then they both raced the team race together and got 2nd.

Then left for home at 6:30 Saturday night, arrived home at about 10:30 Sunday night.
