Not sleeping at night I never understood the whole crate thing. If you don't have the room to let them run or don't want them to run for whatever reason then you should't have the dog. Life in a 2x3 ft crate sounds more like prison. Just my opinion.
Good times.. 4 weeks of no sleeping and you will think a crate was easy if they sleep in the box you only have to get up halfway thru the night and don't water them a couple hours before bed. they will do all they can to not pee in their bed.. especially male dogs. when they have huge space they sometimes don't understand and think they are outside and just pee. Dogs are funny. they actually like the box.. even moose if you leave the door open on his box he will go in there and take a nap. Crates are for when you can't watch em and don't want them chewing up everything. they are a good tool. I just can't seem to let the dogs sleep in em at night. LOL

Our daughter, who is a real "dog person", trains her new pups to a litter box as well as outside. The dogs, she has 5, know where they are to go to poop and never mess in the lawn. Dangerous to walk around in the "potty grove" of scrub oak. The new pup seems to learn from the older dogs and within a very short time there is no middle of the night accidents.

And I agree with you OF, putting a dog in a box at night just don't seem fair.
Teach em to pee on Banshee tires and poop in the bushes its ecologically friendly in every sense

check out Acerbis and Baja designs for headlamps, Ricky Stator or Moose for a lighting coil, I would reccomend moose, and for your numberplates go thru RMATV, they carry custom Attak graphics
