GET A BATTERY TENDER. They are available at your local parts casa, GI Joe's, Wally World, yada, yada, and Harbor freight tools. At a parts joint, expect to pay $35.00 at the "marts" $25 and at Harbor freight $10.00 for a 750 milli amp. 750 is my personal recomendation. 1.25 amp is overkill and costs $60.00 plus
A trick for maintaining batteries that I have learned the expensive way.

Buy one of those inexpensive timers for turning your lights on and off while you are on vacation and set it to turn on the charger for a short period of time each day. Half hour for small batteries and and hour for bigger ones. Even with the float chargers this seems to increase the life of the batteries. Have done this for a number of years with batteries taken out of farm equipment in the winter and it makes a big difference in how long they last.

Hmmm I could follow that logic to the point I had to leave yesterday. Sounds good to me.

This happened exactly a mile from my house. http://www.kirotv.com/news/10998964/detail.html (WHY DOESN'T THE LINK BUTTON EVER WORK)

I drive by this house to and from work. When I went by this house this morning at 5:20 there wasn't a cop at this house. I passed the first cop acouple hundred feet down the road.
