AMEN TO THAT Music mount horses was nutz majorly. your talkin about more cutting reining type paint action there. were's all the paints i pretty much delt with was various pleasure horses.. they did great in the show ring but get them out in the open and they go fockin bonkers. arena horses and thats all they good for. But still i just aint into colored horses. i like em plane jane nothin to flashy. Aww hell speakin of.. i get to trim horses this weekend .. wooow hooo.
im kinda glad i dont have to mess with trimmin and shoein not that i did it myself and all the other stuff but i do miss havin them around...

I got edumuncated in blacksmithin horsey sneakers and did that for a while. and then i got sick of horsey sneakers and did research and decided nailin horsey sneakers on aint that good. horses is barefoot and don't limp or poosy foot on nothin.. I do have Easyboots to put on if im gonna be riding allotta loggin roads though. If my back was better I'd travel around and just do the barefoot thing for people and have that be my job.. But the horses i do is plenty enough for me. i just figured if i gonna be payin someone 75 bucks a month to do each of my horses feet for the next 75 years that just plain lazy of me to not learn to do it myself.

And you be right, Gooses and Fivers much nicer to pull.
you laugh.. But i seen an S-10 with a goosneck camper intow last friday
That trailer must have been made out of tinfoil and toothpicks. If it had weighed much more than a helium balloon he would have been down to driving stakes on the hills to see if he was still moving. My little pickup is at maximum reasonable load with a light weight trailer a quad and a brush mower behind it.

well i have a therory on that..........for the pleasure horse its all work and no play time, let me tell you about dixie, she started out with 1 year trainning then hit the show ring ya she did awsome but one day she got tired of all the WORK blew up. so we sent her back into another trainier that took her out for fun trails, she's been to ocean shores and just got to be a horse again, she now knows its not all work for that perfect peanut pushin 3 beat lope that we expect in the show ring there is fun to follow....as for the stock horses when is it not fun to chase a cow

Never had a problem, of course the 3300 pund dry weight camper in the truck bed may have had some thing to do with the adequate traction I always had.
Id also bet your race boats weighed a hell of allot less than bings boat..
My first boat, the stock engined one, weighed 1500 pounds without me plus the 800 pound trailer. My second boat, the 130+mph race motor rig, weighed in at 1150# and the trailer only weighed 700. So yeah I'm sure my weighed less but on of the guys I crewed for had a 31' offshore racing cat with twin 502 CIB BBCs making right at 1000 hp each and I used to back in in all the time for testing anf never hada problem with it either, It weiged in at close to 9000 ponds npt counting the trailer.

LOL. I know whatcha talkin there. Its always fun to chase a cow Ocean shores is a blast too Put in at Ocean city and ride north as long as you want you know you can get ticketed for goin to fast on the beach on a horse Im just lucky my pony tops out below the speed limit.. The other ones have no troubles exceeding and doubling it. The ocean is the best place for traning horses.. usually take down some portable fencing and make an arena or round corral and play games with em. jump over logs and do lots and lots of circles and some surfing and so on.

Whats all this talk about horses??? I thought this was a quad riding, gun toting, dog breeding, home repairing, yard cutting, automobile repairing, beer & whiskey drinking forum. No where did I see mention of it including horses. What do you all think this is, a rodeo?????? SHEESH, what will you all talk about next, gardening, my god, I hope not.

I like horses, as long as I win when they race and do not have to touch them.
