A sad sad day for Eastern Wa dunes....

Arriving at Beverly at 11:20 this morning to find the camping area blocked off by ambulances and a helicopter we discovered a 12 yr old boy ( est ) was riding a raptor 80 ( from the looks of it but far off ) the raptor rolled 4 times crushing the boy. The paramedics tried to keep him alive to heart flight ( helicopter (unsure of what its called) arrived but by the time it arrived the boy was already gone. The parents showed up about a hour or less later. I cant imagine the pain that family must be in. Please becarefull with your children and with whom they ride.

We stopped for gas Vantage and spoke with another guy that told us a 5 yr old boy was riding up a hill with his father when the Ute flipped over on them both landing on the small boy. His condition is not known at this time. The guy who told us said that he was white as a ghost so the outcome is not looking good. Once again. Becareful with your children. I am sure you know tihs already.
Wow, that is really sad. I wonder what happen. My neighbor was over there this weekend, but left before that happen I guess.

The second one, goes to show why you don't ride with your kids on your quad. Obviously not knowing the whole story, it is hard to judge. But just knowing he was riding with a 5 year old with is enough to question what he was thinking. I sure hope the lil guys turns out to be ok.........

Sounds like a rough day

Sand Dune Accidents
The dad in the last accicent has to feel horible.
I'll bet he does. I'm sure he feels fortunate that his son got to come home.
Just shows how temporary bouts of cranial rectitus can have consequences.
They said it was a "large sand dune". What was he thinking with his 5 y/o son on the back ?????
I am not immune from those bouts once in while, but it's sad and tragic cases like this that remind us why we should be smart and even little lapses can have consequences, especially when it come to our kids.

My hearts out to both sets of parents in these cases.

Default Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Good Evening PSAR.

I am getting excited. The Warrior is all empty and ready to go to the dealership. I did not clean it, they can do that for as little as they are giving for it. I will also drain the fuel tank, why waste 16 gallons of premium. They would probably charge the new buyers for that.

Now all I need to do is figure the truck thing out. What to do, what to do????

I have been looking at the Kodiaks, the 4 wheel drive ones appear to be too tall for the 5th wheel. Verity wants to go with a Kodiak now, but do not know if it is doable / affordable.

AMEN to that. Don't give 'em anything extra..........And they can clean it

I saw you were looking at the C5500 (or whatever it is).......The C4500 will be plenty.
But either will work, just opens up your options.
Keep looking, you should be able to find a good one that is only a year or two old between $40 - $50,000...........
I am looking to, I will let you know if I find anything you might want to look at.........
If ya want to travel, I know there are some great ones down South in Arizona.....
Just have to find them.........
