This long distance racing thing is getting crazy........
We had a good time at the WORCS race in Idaho.....
Weather was crazy, went from 80+ degrees to muddy muddy rain......
But as usual, things just kept braking [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]
Ash's kick starter snapped off on the start line of the first race [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
were able to push start it and get back to the line, then she killed it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
Got her started again and back to the line just as the green flag went up [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
I told her to just be careful and keep it running....it was 80+ out and they way over watered the track. some pretty nasty mud holes, but she kept it going to finish.......whew........
Not so lucky the second race, she was doing great, the it was running like crap and had a hard time keeping it running. She didn't know what it was so she shut it down to not hurt anything worse. Great call on her part. It turned out the inside of the reed cage broke into a couple pieces (have no idea why that would have happen:confused[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]. I was able to dig the two pieces out, so looks like nothing got into the motor..whewwwww.
Not much we could have done about those two issues, oh well.

It was a great weekend besides that. The pro/pro-am race on Sunday was great to watch. Some northwest amatuer boys did great...............

Now to try and get the 85 back up.
Need to get a new reed cage, and kick start shaft.......

Also gonna be looking for a newer CR125 motor for the new frame.
Ash is riding really good, and getting almost all she can out of the 85 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
But these 85's just can't compete with those fast 125's.....
A never ending, expensive battle.....but it's worth the fun we are having....I think [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
