Default Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

the normal gestation for a dog is 56- 63 days but i looked at her last litter gestation and it was 53 days i think i said 50 days before. but she had a large litter of 6 so she may go a little longer this time but then again she fooled me last time she wasnt really big last time eather. i could get an x-ray but that doesnt always show all them eather. i did one on her first litter and it only showed 3 pups and she had 6 i was happy haha i kept one from that litter and she is a tiny tea cup size and has a ton of personality. but i think the males have a better personality over all

OFC, OFC.......You can't "tell" a pregnant women anything. You just need to smile and do it. They are very sensitive.

Besides, I can't sit back and watch her try to paint the whole room and put together all the new furniture by herself. If I did that then I'd not only have to hear about it for the rest of my life, but I can say look what I did. That's masculine too.

I still need to break in the new bad boy anyway not to mention at least get some new rubber for playing in the sand. That's going to be a few weeks.
FINE THEN> put in more hours in the evnings

Tne, how in the heck does that work? When there temp is really high then in the next 12 hours they will have their babies, is that what I'm understanding?
no their temp will drop for her it drops to 97 then within 12 hours she will be in full labor
Doesn't she get upset that you keep sticking things in her? Just curious. I have no idea how the dog thing works. Our cats would always let us know when it was time.
would you like things being stuck in you haha no she does ok with it but im sure she dont like it much. i just like to know so i can be prepared in case of emergency. smaller breeds are more likely to need c-sec than larger breeds, and though she has never had a problem there is still that chance and i want to be on top of it if there is a problem.
That's exactly what I was thinking. Like I have said before my best friends dog is pregnant. She is due right before we leave to go on vacation in May so she is hoping she will have them before we leave. She had 3 the last time so I'm curious to see how many she has this time.

DM you still interested in a chihuhua?
