Now for my day. the boss who is just learning computers and thinks he is an expert changed the prefrences to auto login for visited websites. Me not knowing he did this checked my E-mail yesterday. Well one of my coworkers comes up to me grinning. So I asked him whats up. So he proudly tells me that he was just reading my e-mail. I got pissed. I have password and account info in my email. He justified it with "if its not logged out there is nothing wrong with looking". I talked to my boss and he said that he would talk to the other guy about "respect" and I should "get over it". I spent the whole day mad.
I am thinking about looking for another Job. I feel voilated in some way and pushed aside. If that is how the owner feels about privacy and the invasion of it doI really want to work there?
What do you guys think. I know I wont be using the computers at work anymore.
Do I have any recourse? Or should I "Get over it"?
P.S. this is personal email not work and was viewed on my brake within company computer policy

Honestly for now I would just forget it... but that doesn't mean you shouldn't look for a better job with a better employer [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] My Resume has been regularly updated and posted to several different sites since the day I got out of the army. I get calls regularly about opportunities just nothing worth leaving my current position yet [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I was stuck for a long time in the Army now that I am out I will never be satisfied I will always look for better opportunities because that option is now available [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
