the PW50 is shaft drive & auto so it's an easy starter bike but doesn't have all the controls in the standard locations(both brakes are on the bars like a bicycle)
the JR50 has chain drive, & a shifter w/ auto clutch, you are supposed to be able to pput a 2-spd tranny in them. all controls are in standard locations.
the xr/crf50 costs about the same but is much more upgradeable & has better power than the others, plus it's 4-stroke, chain drive, auto clutch, & controls are in standard locations. they are slightly larger than the others, and can be adjusted as the rider grows some. they are the most popular pit bikes around too, and mods are everywhere for them now... you can spend twice what the bike's worth in mods easily. try to stay away from any that have been used as pit bikes or raced.

Thanks for the info, I guess my brother and I will try to make it when others are planning on going, I have never been to Easton and if I am understanding it seems like its on private property and the atv'ers have a agreement with them. Ill head to granit this weekend and maybe the next time we all can arrange something and meet there... I just ordered new tires and they wont be here till next week, and mine are kinda low, its that whole traction thing im worried about. well thanks everyone and by the way, this forum is great, I cant believe how many great people are here....

I'm taking Hollywood for an introductory ride at Tahuya Saturday, nice, slow and easy ride. If anybody's interested, just remember, this is her "FIRST" ride on any type of trail, must have patience

Costco has some nice tents and even Walmart.
I got a nice one at Walmart for $40.00 that we use as a changing room when we go camping. It's a big 8'X12' tent. Great price too.
Get one of those inflatable mattresses. The big ones will fit inside the tent. Real comfortable and doesn't leave you feeling like you're sleeping on the ground.

Thanks guys for the tent info but we have one already. I think what Hap is fearing is having to put this new one up for the first time, and it is a big one too.
I am more worried about the Tahuya idea

-be sure you have 100% control of your bike
-be very aware of where your front tires are at all times
Tahuya is a great training ground for tight riding,,,,,if you ride there a lot,,,,,most other places are a piece of cake!!!
