The Mariners SUCK!!!! They cant even hold a 6 run lead. Geez. Berta and I got invited to go watch them in a suite (that part was cool). The first several innings were great. But, sigh, the last few innings SUCKED!!!

Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Hey everybody.
Didn't get to ride today, or this weekend . Mothers Day today so took the wife and inlaws to brunch and then worked around the yard. That's what she wanted to do for mothers day. She's still out in the yard now!
For fathers day, all I want is to ride all day. That's what I've done for the past two fathers days. So that's what I'm going to do this year. Who wants to join me? You don't have to be a father. Somewhere local, maybe Reiter, upper staging area.
Just found out last thursday that my son has to report for basic training in the army this June 29th, just 3 weeks after he graduates. He had wanted to delay it until the end of August but they won't let him change it
I was really looking forward to a summer of riding with him since I just gave him the 400ex. Now there's just not much time let with him at all.
Gonna have to find someon else to ride with this summer since Cindy won't want to ride so much. Hope to get down to the dunes again this summer. Just have to see now.

For those who are looking into buying a RV...there is a place in Fife called Holiday Motorhomes and RV that will pay for your gas FOR A YEAR if you purchase a motorhome from them...

With the gas prices (HOLY SCREAMING CRAP ) it might be just what you need to motivate the buying decision...

Boston Rob ("the Robfather") and Amber.....who would-a thunk it???? Who ya voting for to win the other Million on Thursday?? I vote for Rupert!!!

Hey Happa,THANKS!!!! The tires look good and I'm sure they will work fine for my wife. After the rears you gave me wearout I may give her my stockers and buy me a set of ITP Blackwaters.
Those ITP Blackwaters are 27's, alittle tall for a Rappy, you should check out the XCR, they come in 20" rear and 21" front. The XCT that I run only come in a 22" rear and 23' front. They have a new rear, the HD, 20" but no front to match it, has an extremely aggresive tread design. Check out their website, it's been updated, nice site

Larry
I would only change the rears and I think 20" would be fine for the rear. Do you think its a good tread design for the Western Wa trails we ride? I am planning on keeping the front stockers and I want a more aggressive tread for the rears. What do you think of the Kenda Klaws or Knarly's?

We just got home lat night from Florence. I took Corrine and Jake down for a few days. What a blast. THe little guy (he's 7) had a breakout weekend. He was climbing hills that I never thought he'd be able to make it up. He did however roll his quad over for the first time. HE tried to roll it backwards down a dune when he got stuck. He wont do that again. HE didn't get hurt, but I got it on video. HE watched it over and over again. After he flipped he got right back on it, gave mom and I the thums up and hit the hill again with more speed and made it. After that we found a small dip that I hit on my banshee and made a short 15 foot hop over the top of it. I looked back and there was the 90 Eton hitting the same jump at full throttle . His tracks were just one foot behind mine. We passed it off to 14 feet. You should see the smile on his face. It was priceless. HE walked around all weeken saying "Hey, guess what, 14 feet".

Poohbear

I'll be real honest with you on this tire issue, the ITP 22" XCT is the tire you want, I've been running those on my Rappy for a year with no sign of wear, tough as nails, 6-ply. There's others on this forum that also run XCT 22" and are very happy with them. The extra height is great for rock clearance and you really don't notice the extra height when cornering.
