Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

I just watned to put a shout out to Joelrichard50, THANKS for letting us borrow the lowering kits!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a BLAST last night & actually brought home a 3rd place WHOOHOOO LOL DJ was right back to his old self, no wreck is gonna hold that kid back hehehe, he took 1st in both his heat & main & the kid he tangled w/ last weekend tried to pull the same move but carma took over & HE ended up in the bales!!! The refs actually said something to DJ that he needed to be careful, tell that isn't a bunch of crap cuz he was stickin his line but whatever we had a talk w/ Carol so we'll see it's too bad when people gotta start biotchin I'll tell you what it's just a plastic tophy I mean come on!!!! Trevor did good he also got 3rd, he was out there w/ 4 other quads & didn't take anyone or get taken out LOL
We had 3 restarts in the womens class, they kept piling up in the 1st turn, I was starting in the back row so I just cruised around them thinking to myself whoohooo I'm gonna do good then they'd pull that dang red flag LOL but by the end I ended up finishing in 3rd, I even beat Heather on her 450r unfortunely she kept killing it in the turns so I was pretty stoked about the whole night. I think I could really become used to the 400 hehehe Ron's words were & I quote "as long as you get me a 450" LMAO he's wishing now huh. WEll I'm done yacking & once again THANKS GUYS!!!!

2mny,

What are the chances rims from a Banshee will fit on the scrammy?? If so, would 20x10x10 paddles tires work on the scrammy??

My Brother found 2 DUNE SLIDER paddles tires mounted, for $50 at a swap meet. They have kind of a V shape pattern. Anybody know anything about these tires? they don't seem very heavy.

Thanks

the rims wont fit,,,,,Not sure if the tires will fit (cant remember the scrammy rim size)
generally they should work,,,,although 20" sounds a bit small for such a heavy quad

they should be fine for any sportbike though

you can always re-drill the rims to fit any pattern

Thanks BING,

With just the little I know of this stuff, I told him 20" sounded to small for his quad.

Now I wonder if they will fit on my buddies Mojave????????????

BING,

I think so, sound like a good size.
Now I'm just looking around to see if the Banshee rims will fit the Mojave.

Like Bing said... I don't think the rims will fit the scrammy... Keep in mind the banshee is a 300+ pound machine... the scrammy is 571 lb (w/o fuel/oil). Aluminum rims come in different thicknesses... I have Red-Label rims (.19 thick), tough rims, but still bend them... I wouldn't get anything less than those. As far as the tire size goes... it's a 4x4 and needs 22" tires on the back... otherwise you may be screwed when you try to use the 4x4... which I use quite frequently in the sand because the machine is so heavy... Tread pattern on a scrammy really doesn't make much of a difference in my opinion... they only produce 30+ horsepower and is belt driven anyway. I have hauler extremes (straight paddles) on mine and I do a bunch of trail riding in the sand and never missed a turn... V-paddles do make a difference if you like to squirrle around, but I've never had a problem with my straight paddles... again, it's a heavy machine.
